About Karen Babcock

Karen spent the first fifteen years of her professional life working for software companies. She started in documentation, moved to programming, moved from there to consulting, and ended up as product manager for financial reporting products.

In 1999, Karen took her part-time consulting business full time. As a freelancer, she has written a variety of technical white papers on topics ranging from achieving emotional balance to using OLE DB for document management solutions and shorter marketing pieces that have appeared on-line and in print. She has designed and created Excel-based budgeting, sales forecasting, and project estimating solutions and has designed and implemented a number of websites.
